1.1 CAN I COME?

Alot of people have expressed an interest in coming out to be there for the opening night so this post should hopefully answer some questions.

WHATS IT LIKE IN BELGIUM/LIEGE?
The predominant language in Liege is French, Flemmish is spoken mostly further north. Many people speak english so it should not be too hard to find your way round if you can visit.
Liège is renowned for its significant nightlife. Within the pedestrian zone, there is an area called Le Carré with many many pubs and bars which  remain open until the last customer leaves (typically around 6 am). Belgian beer is some of the best in the world and Liege has many many bars and restuarants to guarentee and awesome time away. And if you want to keep moving Holland is half an hour by train, germany about 1.5hrs, and the Belgium captial Brussels just one hour (wheres theres plenty more to see and do!).

WHATS THE BEST WAY TO GET THERE?
Eurostar! It can be the cheapest and easist way to travel to and from Belgium. Tickets if bought early enough can be as cheap as 50£ return. The train takes exactly 2hrs from Kings Cross London to Brussels. From there a further one hour train will take you directly to Liege. Possibly flights may work out slightly cheaper but in terms of time and not having to check in luggage and all that its so much easier and quicker by eurostar.

WHERE CAN I STAY?
There is one main hostel in Liege where we have both actually actually stayed and worked. The staff are very friendly, the rooms are clean and they have internet and laundry facilities. It is also just a 10 minute walk from the gallery. We highly recommend it as the cheapest and best option. If however you want to splash out a little more there are many hotels in Liege you can find.
you can book/check the hostle out here;   http://www.laj.be/presentation,304?lang=en

Belgium is really a great place to visit and its so close to home.
We hope you can make it out for the exhibition.
Any more questions feel free to ask.
